Hello to all...this is our first time posting here. Here's our question:
We just purchased an HP computer, Microsoft RMS store operations, MMF media
Plus cash drawer, and Ithaca, iTherm 280 receipt printer. We have everything
going perfect, except that the printer doesn't print and the cash drawer
won't open. Would someone be so kind and let us know what to do? We are
suppose to open our business on May 3, 2006. The cash register is connected
to the receipt printer I guess it looks like a ethernet cable, but it's not,
and the receipt printer is USB. We need some help fast. Thank you so much in
advance.

Is this printer part of the HP package or something you bought as an add-on?
Have you checked with the people you bought the system from if the drivers
are installed and what type are installed, Windows or OPOS?
Have you attempted to setup the printer in the Register Setup? Manager |
Database | Register | Register List | select your register # | Receipt
printer 1 tab.
Is there a receipt format list in the above section, near the bottom?
