Since using RMs during the past 2 years, I have created several memorized
sales reports. These reports include date and 1 to several item categories.
When I run the report for month-to-date or year-to-date or anyother date
parameter, the finished report includes 2 years of sales data, not what was
requested.. Any suggestions?

TV hardware,

I imagine your filter looks something like this:
Date Sold between 01/01/05 and 08/18/05
AND Department = SomeDepartment
OR Department = SomeOtherDepartment

If it does that is the problem. The logic here is I would like to see all
items that were sold this year to date and all items that are in Department
SomeDepartment or ANY item that was sold any time in SomeOtherDepartment.

What you want to do is run the report for this year to date with no
departments and then minimize the departments you don't want to see and
leave the others expanded or just one department at a time with this year to
date.

This is how you need to do your report:

Date Rage
AND Category
OR Date Range
AND Category
etc.

If you did
Date Rage
AND Category
Or Category

It means that you want a date range report of the first category and all
date range report of the next category.
