Sorry for the repost here (posted 9/24/2007) - but I am dying to try to get
this figured out. Does anyone have any thoughts?

Original Post:
I have created a worksheet 340: PO PLanner as a template for the purpose of
issuing new store's 'Opening orders' of base inventory with. However, I am
finding we can not copy the PO planner template we created and reissue to new
locations. Has anyone developed a work-around (scripts) to make this
possible? I just have not had a chance to look into scripting this yet.

Thank you in advance.

Jocelyn, if the first location's opening order was created by running the PO
Planner based on restock levels / reorder points, copy these values onto the
other stores to duplicate the quantities that were ordered for the first
store. Would this work for you...?

The HQ PO Planner is not based on a stores opening restock/reorder. We do not
have the ability to control that b/c we are a franchise (wish we did).

The initial HQ PO Planner worksheet is based on Store Tiers (1-4). We
started by creating the worksheets in HQ for new stores (we happened to have
one of each of the 4 tiers opening). When we had to open another store, I
grabbed the worksheets for that tier, and found I can not copy and issue to a
new store. The worksheet itself can be copied, but the "To Store(s)" can not
be updated/changed.

The workaround - which is all in my head for the time being - is to copy the
worksheet, click OK (not Approve) - and go in and script the changes to the
receiving store. I.E. Remove the copied store and reassign the proper store.
It just seems like it is going to be one massive sloppy mess - and would like
to know if anyone has ever dealt with scripting the PO Planners yet
