Reprinting Receipts/Journal Alex 04-13-2007

When we need to reprint a Journal/Receipt in the back office we have to use
our laser printer since we obviously don't have a receipt printer in the
back office.

The problem I run into is that the left .25 inch or so gets cut off because
it's outside the laser printers printable area. When I try to change the
page settings to .5 inch it doesn't affect the printouts at all (as a matter
of fact it immediately reverts back to .25 and even this margin gets
ignored).

Does anybody know of a way to (permanently) fix this?

Yes Alex, Now give you one understanding which is important to you, the
receipt viewer or journal viewer show you the invoice/receipt in Bitmap
format so it is image which you are printing, it set the printing magring and
everything. so whatever setting were at the time of printing journal first
time will remain same but you can print on any other printer.

I understand, but just like with any bitmap or graphics file, you should be
able to change the page margins. I'm not talking about changing the bitmap
but just moving it over to the right so it doesn't print outside the
printer's printable margin.

Anybody?
