OK any feedback on Lan Services? I've viewed
http://www.kosmoscentral.com/ecommerce/rms-integration/ and
Nitrosell.com's software and they obviously have a quality trusted
solution. How come there's no real information about Lan Services?
Is Lan Services just new? I did some research and it looks like Lan
Services is based in Inida, so obviously there's some outsourcing
going on. What about support? I'm weary about their support since
they are not based here in the U.S..

Hi Jessica, yes you'll notice online that a few companies over seas
are trying hard to get into integrating with RMS. One thing you
should ask yourself are the below.

1) Do you want local support and an English speaking college grad to
communicate with?
2) Is it a FULL SERVICE solution, in other words has it been proven
and tested by 50+ companies?
3) Also, is there a support package where you can follow up with a
phone call or post a support request within minutes and not worry
about the response time taking more than 24 hours? If you had a down
time issue (internal or not) could you call the company and feel 100%
taken care of and know that the staff can assist you in all aspects of
your website?
4) Also, when you have been inquiring with any of the companies about
pricing and customization quote requests what the response times are?
Is there someone that will pick up the phone to help refine and direct
you to the right solution?

All I have to say is that you get what you pay for. LAN Services was
a partner at Newestech and are not on their site anymore so you would
have to wonder why.

So basically with so little information out there in the discussion
groups and quality case studies/testimonials I'd be VERY thorough with
your research and qualify each company thoroughly. From my research
if you want a quality product with great customer service and support
here in the states then Kosmos Central would be your best bet.
Nitrosell also has a very good product, but are headquartered in
Ireland and have an office in the states too etc. The products are
quite different in your flexibility so I would review some of the
discussions here to see what the differences are.
