The problem with the speed of printing is that the new method is using the
Windows printer driver. The old method was sending the "machine specific"
printing language to the printer. The old method is much faster.
My suggestion is to go to the Monarch site and get the programming manual
and set up the printing to be by machine code. You can also consider using
a <a href="http://www.carolinabarcode.com">barcode font</a>
