Please log in for more thread options No you can't have it both ways. You either have the change screen stay until
you close it by hitting enter, or you have the change screen close
automatically after the sale completes. This is really an issue of employee
training. If you train your cashiers to be careful and hit enter after
giving the change there won't be an issue. Another way to do it is to do
what we do, have the change screen close automatically and configure POS to
'Print receipts only after asking the cashier' in the register properties.
This way the change screen will stay open until you tell it to print a
receipt or not. That way you can see what change to give back. As soon as
you print the receipt(or not)the change screen closes and your set to go
with the next transaction. It's very quick and only takes one extra
keystroke.
