I'm getting this error when my second register trys to connect to the server
When I test the connection under the store adminstrator I get the following
response

Error #2147467259
[DBNETLIB]{ConnectionOpen(PreloginHandshake()).]General network error. Check
your network documentation.(Source:Microsoft OLE DB Provider for SQL Server)
(SQL State: 08001)
(NativeError: 11)
No Help Files available.
This system has been running for over a year before this happend. The
physical
network seem to be fine as we can see files and folders on the server
register.
Need Help with this one.

What operating system are you using? Have you changed user logins recently?
Have you tried to connect to your server using the IP address? (This would
eliminate any DNS issues)?

These units are using windows 2000 sp4 with RMS V1.2 SP2. The network is
working. I've tried the IP address as this was the first thing That was tried.
I believe the problem is either in the Database or the MSDE. both have been
uninstalled and reinstalled on both registers. I even deleted the remaining
folders have the uninstall.
