Please log in for more thread options IIf the first character (or any other thtan the last 4 characters were
unmasked) they would not be in PCI (Payment Card Industry) compliance and
could be subject to significant "fines" by Visa/Mastercard. If you have an
issue, call your credit card processor. As suggested by Rook, if l you set
up Validation, 4 for Visa, 5 for Mastercard, (I cannot remember Amex and
Discover) you would know what the first digit is, otherwise you wold have
gotten a processing error at the POS.
