Updates

Hi and thanks for viewing and any comments / suggestions you may make.

I know there are threads relating to updates, but can any one expalin to me
in plain english how to update my Microsft Dynamics RMS?
I've tried all last night and when I try to login to the support centre not
recognising my email and Microsoft don't make it easy to get the updates.
I have eventually found a link from this forum to the request hotfixes and I
run XP 32 bit and requested this hot fix SP4 Fix255196
Is this safe just in install or do I need to install updated before this
one? If so how do i get my hands on them?

What version of RMS do you have? That would help with the anwser. I believe
you need to update them in sequence.

hi,

it is very simple, upgrade your software. Then before running any POS or
Manager, go to AdMIN, login to your database, then Click on Database Menu and
hit the Upgrade, Select your DB, it will specify you whether db is upgraded
or not. If not upgrade it by hitting the button. Now start your program, this
procedure only require one time to be done. so no need to done twice.

Install the upgrade software on all registers or workstation where you are
using the software.
