View item cost or miminum sell price from POS

My cashiers are authorized to discount items to a certain extent, but I don't want them accessing Store Manager. Is there any way for the cashier to see an items cost (or minimum selling price) without using the "multiple guess" method until they are in an appropriate sales price range? This brings up a gray screen that tells price, cost, amount instock, committed, and available.
