Does anyone know why credit card transaction doesn't capture names? On the
receipt of the credit card transaction, it doesn't have the name of the card
holder.

The Dynamics team must not think we need it (despite our requests).

I'm going to be a little cynical here, so bear with me...

First, cards have either 2 or three 'tracks' on the mag stripe. The name is
on a track that RMS ignores, even though there are fields in the database to
handle that data.

Second, rather than writing secure software, with RMS MS has taken the tact
of never storing any information that is even marginally private. In this
way, they avoid having to pass a real review by the credit card companies.

I'm not positive of this, but you may be able to add this functionality in
using the Card Vault add-in from New West...

I think someone has posted add-in code in the NG to capture that info to be
used as a receipt variable as well.
