Z Report Total of Departments larger than Total Sales

Z Report Total of Departments larger than Total Sales RicoTowers 10-20-2009

I have a Z-Report where the total sales is $6250.10 and in the same Z-Report,
the total of all Departments is $9866.25.

The Hourly Total is the same as the Department Total, but non are the same
as the Total Sales.

The curious thing is that the "Sales" (right under "opening Total", does
not equal the Department Total.

I have spoken with varios contacts and all have indicated that it could be
power failure during posting or saving the transaction.

Can someone give an explanation of this and is there any solutions?

Please log in for more thread options


Pls log in to manger and click on tab reports/sales/detailed sale then you
can see which amount match with z report.
If your delailed sale amount is $9866.25 that mean you may have transaction
posting problem.

We did that and the sales is even larger than what the Department sales
indicates. Since Detail Sales can't seperate by time, we exported and then
sorted to get the Report actual shift info and still doesn;t match.
