changing quantities to zero dexter 01-19-2008

We have experiences where u think an item has been cashed but the cashier
changes the quantity to zero and keeps the money. Is ther a way to disallow
cashier to change quantities on the pos to zero.

i would thought on this.

Hi Dexter - options tab in item properties allows you to restrict the ability
to enter an item's quantity (quantity entry at pos not allowed) - each scan
will represent a qty of one - the qty field will not be editable by anyone. -
a more flexible approach may be implementing security levels where say
cashiers are assigned to security level 2, then use security settings to deny
sec level 2 the ability to edit the quantity field - hope this helps....

Make it where cashiers cant post empty transactions. I think that might help
