We are thinking about switching to a no signature policy for charges less
than $25 - this is offered by M/C, VISA, and Amex for certain industries.

I am not a programmer, but I was wondering if one can use XML to edit the
receipt template so that a credit card signature slip is only printed for
transactions in excess of $25? We use a fairly standard receipt format - I
would think it would only be a couple of lines of code.

I'd prefer not to have our cashiers try to remember that signatures are
still required for these higher transactions.

Thanks.

The card associations (Visa & MasterCard) allow this small ticket option only
for certain sic codes such as parking garages, quick service restaurants,
taxi, movie theaters, etc.

If you need more info give me a call @ 866-808-3780 m-f 9 am - 5 pm est.

Yes, I am aware of this restriction. I was most interested in printing
signature receipts for tickets over $25.
