Posted by Willie Whelan on November 9, 2005, 11:21 am Please log in for more thread options when the item message appears (eg over 18 for alcohol) if the cashier is scanning the items quickly then the next item that she/he scans removes the message but does not get added to the bill, the scanned item clicks the ok button but will not appear on the sale and the cashier will continue to scan because no message is there to give them any indication that anything has happened. RESULTING IN LOSS OF SALES AND A HIGHER DEGREE OF SUSPICION THAT PEOPLE ARE STEALING CERTAIN ITEMS !!!!!!!!!! the focus for the message should be the banner not the ok button. should have a different noise when an item is scanned until the ok button is pressed by cashier ---------------- This post is a suggestion for Microsoft, and Microsoft responds to the suggestions with the most votes.
