I had this same problem when a NEW item was accidentally made into an
MATRIX type item that was empty. I accidentally closed it before I added
in the matrix items.
I could never get it to come back up so I could add the items to it.
Even if I typed in the ILC into manager..nothing.
If you can get it to come up in POS, try looking at the item TYPE to see
if it is a matrix item..if yes, change the type to standard.
otherwise, You will have to go to the SQL table to see it.
I finally just deleted it from the item table and re-made it under the
same ILC number.
