recently i have been having problems with some of the store clients not
seeing a worksheet just after its created. sometimes I have to wait as long
as 6 or 8 minutes for the client to see and run the worksheet. any thoughts
? it has been running fine for years but just recently started seeing this
on several of my stores.

Conradical,

How often are the stores connecting to HQ? They won't see the =
worksheets until they connect.

What version of RMS are they running? There was a bug introduced around =
2.0.0120 where if one has "Calculate HQ Item Cost as Weighted Average" =
selected, it really slowed things down. 2.0.0127 hotfix fixed it.

Hi Jeff, thanks for the respons. I dont have the clients setup to connect
to HQ automatically, I manually connect them to run worksheets. I have about
30 POS servers around the country that I do this with weekly. They are all
running RMS 2.0.0105 and I really havent had any problems with this process
for a couple years now. Normally when I run the client, it connects to my
HeadQuarters and see's the worksheets and runs. Now... it wont see the
worksheet within a minute of me setting up and approving the worksheet.
sometimes i have to keep retrying and it can take 5 minutes or longer.
Eventually... it does see the worksheet and runs but it makes me nervous that
this process might slow down more and more.

Have you checked the time on both the Client and the Server computers?

Yes times match. This problem is weird because all of these servers worked
fine with this for a couple years now and now all of a sudden... they all
take about 5 minutes to recognize a worksheet. I am wondering if the size of
my database is a factor.. its getting bigger everyday
