There are several sellers on EBAY offering 2008 Premier Accountant for
around 329 shipped or 309 + shipping.

They are claiming this version installs the full contractor version if
selected. That is a substantial savings. Can anybody confirm their claims
are true?

The premier accountant version can "toggle" to any other version in that
year. Go for it.

Btw, all of the programs are basically the same. The industry specific
addons are usually just extra reports. Not always worth the extra money.

As I mentioned in a previous post I'm already running a contractor edition
version (2004). I want to run 4 copies eventually. 2 in house, one at home
(vpn) and one mobile (vpn). At four copies it looks cheaper to upgrade
instead of try and find additional licenses for my 2004 version.

If you will have 4 simutlaneous users then you will need 4 copies for sure.
You may find that depending on how the users access the program you might be
able to get away with fewer copies.

Yeah, I did that in my old office. Three installs one database one user on
at a time.
