At least an organization FOUNDED by an accountant. They have meetings and:

*Put a block of wood in water and watch it warp.
*Visit the tax museum in Israel and the comb museum in China
*Study why most airport baggage carousels rotate counter-clockwise (it has
nothing to do with the hemisphere)
*Investigate the history of soap
*Decide whether the ultimate date is "Binge Flossing"

No women allowed - women are too exciting.

(My state once had an economist as it's U.S. Senator. He was fond of saying:
"An economist is one who lacks the charisma to be an accountant.)

You made a typo in the Subject.
Never mind what the web page says, for an Accountants organization it
should be: This is national fib month.

Thank you for the correction. While the article says:

"Figs are good for you. High fiber and high nutritional value ... fat-free,
sodium-free, cholesterol-free ... not to mention the great taste. And they
are portable,"

I suppose they could be exaggerating.

I recall Dilbert being introduced to the head of the accounting department.
He said: "Good morning, sir. Or is it madam?"

The head of the department replied: "In accounting, it really doesn't
matter."

We have a fig tree. It put out loads of delicious figs, but not for
awhile now. This wouldn't seem like a good month for honoring figs.
Fibs are always in season. <G>
