Can't open newer data file brett 11-12-2007

I'm running Quickbooks 2000 on XP. I just recently did a fresh
install of the OS and QB. I can't open the data file now because QB
doesn't have all of the updates applied to it. I did try to update QB
but it doesn't seem to download anything. Is there something else I
need to do (besides a full upgrade)?

Thanks.

Go to Intuit's web site and manually download the updates

That is not going to help since the oldest product for which they have
updates available for is 2004. The OP needs to find someone that has saved
the older update files.
