Change invoice line item date to mm/yyyy ? Grover 12-04-2008

Several of the services that my company provides are "retainer like";
a monthly fee for "services rendered".

I'd like to be able to generate an invoice that shows a line item with
a mm/yyyy format, not the actual day format. I don't care about the
actual invoice date, just the line item date.

I've tried with the invoice templates, but can't seem to change the
date column format.

Comments or help appreciated.

Thanks!

Grov

I believe that the date format shown is based upon your particular windows
date format Control Panel->Regional and Language.

So, it is not possible to set up a specific template with a format different
than anything else. It seems the simplest solution is to type the date in
question in manually as mm/yyyy for your and their records. Of course you
could always go in and modify the system format date, apply it, print the
specific invoice, and then change it back.
