Hi All,

I have a customer download and enter a years worth of
data into the Enterprise Edition demo. When she found out how
much the Enterprise Edition cost, she changed her mind and
purchases the Premiere edition.

Problem, after several hours with Quick Books AWFUL tech support,
it was determined there was no down grade path to the Primere
Edition.

Someone please tell me it isn't so! It there a way to migrate
Enterprise to Premiere that QB Tech does not know about?

Many thanks,
-T

Tech support was correct. You can not downgrade from Enterprise to Premier.

You need a third party application such the Data Transfer Utility found here
http://www.q2q.us/dtuoverview.htm to move the transactions.

qbrepair had written this in response to
http://www.rockryno.com/quickbooks/Re-Convert-Enterprise-to-Premiere-7287-.htm
:
Third party applications that use the QuickBooks SDK to copy transactions
from one file to another do not perform a complete conversion. For a full
conversion including payroll and all other service subscriptions such as
credit card processing through your merchant account you need a true
conversion of the file. QuickBooksRepair.com offers a full conversion of
the file including payroll and all subscription services with no data loss.
