Don't make a journal entry to pay a credit card. You can't use a deposit
window to do this.
Just use the "write a check" window. Payee will be the credit card company,
and under the "expenses" tab you enter the name of that credit card account.
The cash payment would work the same way, except you'll be writing an
imaginary "check" from the petty cash account.
