Anyone know if there is an add-on for Quickbooks that will let me predict
when a customer will need to place another order, based on the sales and
inventory history for that customer.

I would like to record the number of units in stock, each time I visit a
customer, and use that info to predict when they will need to place their
next order.

My goal is to only visit the customer when they need to place their next
order. So, whenever I visit them and they don't need anything, I would
record the inventory that they have on hand. This info, in conjunction
with their order history, would begin to give me an accurate idea of when
they will run out of a given product.

With any luck it would also allow me to set custom reorder points, as
some customers reorder when they are almost out and other prefer to run
out completely. This would also help in hedging against some running out
completely.

If anyone knows of a software that does this, I would be very interestred
in taking a look at it.
