Hi All,

How do I tell Quick Books not to open the
previous user in the Company's logon
dialog? I want the user to have to put his name
in every time and not know who last used the
company file

Many thanks,
-T

Found it:

Under Windows Server 2008, the Quick Books last user name
is found in:

C:ProgramDataIntuitQuickBooks 2009qbw.ini

in the section:

LASTUSERNAME=Moe

I am going to force it to "Admin" and see if it takes
for everyone.

It keeps overwriting with the last user name. I am still
trying to figure out how to make it permanent.

I commented in the other thread....

What if you created a script/bat file that copies a saved version of the
file that contains Admin as that value each time QB is launched?

Those turkeys at Intuit should put that kind of stuff in
in each user's profile. But, Intuit can be awfully bone
headed about that kind of stuff.
