Hi,

I'm running QuickBooks 5 (yes, still!) and on the General Ledger
(reports - accountants...) the end/grand total is zero. There are
figures on the ledger, and sub-totals are ok, it's just the end total
(bold at the bottom of the ledger) that is missing.

It used to be there, and it may be a setting i've changed - i just
cant think what. It could also be a bug maybe, as i'm 'a few' versions
behind.

Anyone know what may be causing this?

thanks

Are you saying that the total line at the bottom of the report is missing or
zero? First you say it is zero and then you say it is missing.

The grand total should be zero or something is wrong with your file
(debits=credits so total balance must equal 0).

Sorry for the confusion, i do mean Zero.

so the General Ledger end total SHOULD be zero then?
