Is there a way to take the information inputted into an Estimate and pull it
into a Sales Receipt? Most of my estimates result in sales of exactly the
same items and I would rather not have to re-enter the same fields in the
Sales Receipt.

I am using QuickBooks Pro 2003

Email is greatly appreciated.

My version of QuickBooks 2007 Premier allows me to create a Sales Order from
an Estimate.

In the context of the original post that fact does not matter. The flow of
data would go from estimate to invoice directly not estimate to sales order
to invoice.

Ummm.. what would be wrong with issuing an invoice? An invoice that gets
paid the same day?

Enter the payment for the sale. From the estimate screen, use the option to
'create invoice' to create an invoice for the total amount. When you go to
save the invoice, you will be given a message that the customer has
outstanding credits (for the payment just entered). Apply the credit, print
the paid invoice as a receipt.
