Hi,
Perhaps this is obvious, I'm not sure. Here goes:
If you're using the hosted version of QB, called "Quickbooks Online",
is there a way to download or create a ".QBW" file of that data?
I appreciate your comments and suggestions.

Basic or Plus version?
In the Plus version you can export to your desktop for viewing. You can not
re-import your changes to the online version. I don't think this option is
available with the Basic online version.

Please log in for more thread options Hi Laura,
Thank you verymuch for the reply. Regardless of the version, what I am
trying to determine is if there is a way to download a *.QBW datafile
when using the web hosted version of QB, called Quickbooks Online.
I believe that a QBW file is the actual QB data file for a particular
company.
Any idea about this?
Regards,

Go to Company>>Export Your Data. One of your options is to "move your data
to your desktop version". Click on the "start the export interview" to
download your data to your desktop version. Read the screens carefully to
learn the limitations of converting the data back to a desktop version. Once
you have downloaded the data QuickBooks will create the qbw file that you
are looking for.
