Invoice To Be Emailed Default Checkbox pmelan@yahoo.com 01-03-2007

Good morning everyone.

I have encountered either an issue or a bug in QB Pro 2005.

I have made a business decision to start emailing invoices from QB
instead of printing and mailing to be more efficient. The way I
process my monthly invoices is by using a third party program that will
take a CSV file and through a connection made in QB, I can import my
invoices and then print them.

OK, here is the issue; when you save an invoice, the default method of
delivery is To Be Printed. If you de-select that option and save, the
new default is not To Be Printed. If I were to click on To Be Emailed
and create an invoice and save it, the default goes back To Be Printed.
So basically, my problem is that I click on To Be Emailed and it never
holds the setting, it always reverts back to To Be Printed.

Has anyone encountered this issue and have there been subsequent fixes
in any newer version of QB? I have no problem upgrading if I have some
solid info that this problem has been fixed or if anyone knows of a
work-around.

Any suggestions are welcome and greatly appreciated.

Thanks.

Peter Melan
