Invoices marked PAID show up in Receivables?? Fred Marshall 11-20-2008

Recently, checking Receivables (A/R Aging Summary), they seem too high.
Then, checking the underlying invoices listed in the report, some
questionable invoices (in the report) are already shown as PAID (as they
should).

How to get those invoices out of A/R Aging Summary, etc?

Thanks,

Fred

Welcome to the wonderful world of Intuit. Your file is trashed, a common
occurrence. You can attempt to rebuild. If that fails the next suggestion that
usually is given by Indian tech support from Intuit is to re-enter all your
data. Good luck, you need it.

Try rebuilding the data file 3 times in a row. If that doesn't fix
it, there is a data services ICU for damaged files. If you're a
ProAdvisor member, call tech support during regular business hours (M-
F 6 - 6 PST) and you'll get someone in Tuscon.

Not trashed. Somehow the Receive Payments entries were dated AFTER the
deposit and AFTER the A/R report date. Fixing those dates fixed the
problem. How they got that way was probably an operator error.

Thanks for the reply!
