Online QuickBooks -- Read-Only access? BETAC-T 04-09-2007

I am trying to find out if the Online version of QuickBooks provides a way
to set up users who only have read-only access to all of the company
information.

For example, if I had the Online QuickBooks software, I would like to be
able to set up a user who could see ALL of the company financial information
(including each transaction, each check written, payroll information,
reports, etc.), but only have READ-ONLY access to the information, and no
ability to enter or change any information.

I went to the Intuit website and even downloaded and ran the sample company
trial version, but I can't find the answer to my question.

So, does anyone here know, does Online QuickBooks allow for the set up of a
user with full -- but READ-ONLY -- access to all of the company information?

Thanks.

For anyone who may care, I found the answers to my questions.

QB Online allows for an unlimited number of "Reports Only" users at no
additional cost. Those users have read-only access and can see almost
everything -- including details of transactions, etc. and not just summary
reports.

Also, QB Online does not really have a company file that can be easily
downloaded, copied, and emailed to others. To get a company file, you have
to specifically request it from Intuit and it could take several hours for
them to prepare it for download. Even then, it is not completely compatible
with the desktop version of QB and cannot be worked on and then uploaded for
Online use without losing some information.
