I am using QuickBooks Pro 2006.

I would like to keep track of hours that our subcontractor does using
QuickBooks and be able to run a report at the end of the month and
know exactly what I should pay him. I have the same problem for the
owner, who is going to be paid via Paychex, but I will need to tell
them his hours.

I tried to use the time card feature, but I can't seem to pull up my
previous entries, and there seems to be no report to view the
accumulated time...

Is there a way to do this in QuickBooks without subscribing to a paid
service of theirs? What am I doing wrong/missing?

Thank you in advance for your help!

The owner is paid hourly?

The owner wants to be paid hourly for time he spends in the field

Our company is too small and we do not bring in enough money to pay
salaries. Until now, I was the only one who got paid anything. There
are actually 2 owners, the other is waiving payment until the company
grows more. We want to pay Alex something because he seems to be
getting discouraged and we want to encourage him to sell more, and
have better client relations.
