 I often use groupings on my invoices and I have them set up so that the
individual items in the group are hidden when I print the invoice. Is there
a way to tell QB to print out all of the items at print time. I.E. I want to
print a copy for my paper files that shows the detailed invoice but the
customer gets only the abbreviated one.

From the QB helpfile
"(Optional) Select the "Print items in group" checkbox if you want your
customers to see a list of the individual items and their amounts on your
printed forms. (Subitems of an item in a group will not appear on printed
forms.)
Leave the checkbox unselected if you don't want the details of the group to
appear on your printed forms. (You'll still see the details when you view
the form onscreen.)"

It appears it is an all or nothing situation. You may set up a group item so
that the subitems either print on forms, or not.

This is what I was getting at. I generally don't want a customer to see all
the details so I have the box checked, however, I would like to print a
second copy for my records that does show the details, much like what is
seen onscreen.

Bump again. I am QB Pro 2003. Does anyone know if this feature is supported
in the latest QB Pro version? Thinking about upgrading.

How group items are printed has not changed in the current version.
