Is there a way to let QB 2005 Pro print a signature on checks, using an
appropriate jpg or other image file? If so, how is it set up?

WATCH OUT! If you have a bookkeeper you had better be able to really
trust him or her, and have a very secure computer. Had an employee
once with a speed habit who wrote unauthorized checks to her personal
benefit. They were made to a third party whose ID she had. When she
was caught the bank wanted me to eat them because of the use of a
stamp for my signature. My lawyer had to convince the bank that they
were at fault for accepting her forged endorsement. From now on, I
sign all my checks by hand!

May not apply to you at all, of course.

I'm my own bookkeeper, I'm shifty, it's true, but I watch myself like a
hawk.

I've seen numerous situations in which a company with a large payroll, or
numerous payables will have a computerized signture added to its checks so
the Treasurer doesn't have to spend hours signing them. So I thought QB
might have such a feature. I've digitized my signature to be used when I
email or create PDF's for emailing.
