Wello - this is a good one. I have Quickbooks 2007on my laptop Vista
machine. There was a database and everything was up to date as of the end of
October. Yesterday when I went to use the computer after several months of
inactivity, everything was there except Quickbooks - it is gone. There is no
database either and when I go to load it, it asks if this is a new or open
old file. When I go to do that, there is nothing!
HELP

Do a global seach for files with an extension of QBW. If there are none then
it was deleted.

Search for files with an extension of QBW or QBB, see if that turns up
anything.

Then your only alternative is to restore the file from your backup.
