If I buy QB Pro 2004 from eBay, will I be able to input payroll? I now have
QB Pro 99 and have 3 employees. I plug in the SS - Medicare - and Federal.
Would I be able to do the same with 2004? Thanks in advance for any helpful
input.

Why would you waste your money or time with an outdated version like 2004.
If you are upgrading then it should be 2007 or not upgrade at all.

'Cause they've got dozens of offerings for less than $60.00.

But if it ain't broke why fix it? QB 99 serves you fine right now so why
rock the boat? I agree with Allan that if you are going to upgrade then you
should upgrade to 2007. Wait a month or 2 and check eBay again for good
deals on 07 as folks wait for 2008 to be released. I like the user interface
they introduced with 2006 so it might be worth waiting.

How are you entering payroll in 99? Totally manually-after the fact entries?
Since you have no payroll subscription for 99, you should be able to do the
same thing in 2004 (or 2007) should you decide to upgrade. You might get the
trial CD for 2007 and test drive it yourself:
