I have just purchased QB Pro 2007/2008 and have noticed to my dismay
that the tax table version is for 2006/2007. How do I go about getting
the new version without having to pay for it as it really should be on
this new version of QB.

QB 2007 was released at the end of 2006. It has the table in effect at that
time. Sign up for the payroll subscription but do not give them a credit
card number. You will then be able to perform a one time download of the
latest tax table that can be used up until 2/15/2008.

There is no such version as QB Pro 2007/2008, saying it does not make is so.

Unless you're a big time tycoon like me with more than one EIN.
The so-called "free" one-time download only works on one EIN.

You have the Australian version of QB Pro 2007/08 which was released
in April, before the new tax scales came into effect on 1 July 2007.
The old tax scales were current when the version was released.

Quicken Australia always releases a patch to allow the change to the
tax scales. Go to www.quicken.com.au and find the Downloads page under
Support. It will lead you to the right patch for your version. If your
computer operates under XP, you will need to download another patch to
resolve an issue relating to changing some other functions as a result
of bringing some Vista functionality in the first service pack.

If you are unsure what to do with this, contact a Quicken Accredited
Consultant near you for some help. You can find them on the web site
at Find a Consultant.
