You are using 2008-09 in Australia aren't you?
If so, can you press F2 and note the release of the software you have.
You may see R3P, R6P, R7P at the end of a line near the top of the pop
up screen. Can you reply with this information and the version (Premier,
Pro, etc).
I have just tested your error in R8P which is about to be released
(October 30) with a large number of fixes in it. The initial release
will be to Reckon Accredited Partners for full uninstall/reinstall
activity with clients, and it is expected that a patch (similar to
previous tax scale patches) will be released in late November.
I think this issue was fixed in R7P, but it may have been a problem in
the earlier releases.
Anyway, if you post the details I will be able to help you understand
what is happening.
