Current setup......
Custotmer=property
Job=Tenant

There are not multiple properties, just one apartment building. Can the
customer be the apartment number?
Need tenant tracking report by tenant and apartment number. Some tenants
may transfer to other apartments during the year in addition to move-in and
move-out transactions. Is there a scheme to accomplish this?

I need to list tenant names within apartment number and apartment numbers
within tenant name for any selective period of time. I have seen schemes
with tenant name and apartment# for Job. Using class for other purpose..
Any other setups that will accomplsh this?

Hi Dale,

In response to your question regarding rental units. I will share with
you what has worked for me.

What I do is initially set up each rental address as a customer. I
then add a job [the unit] to the customer and in addition to that, I
will add the tennant/occupant [as a job of the unit]. Then as a new
tennant moves in, I will just add them to the particular unit they are
occupying. hth

Becky

I had the basic setup but I revised to he following:

Customer=Rental Apartment Building
Job=Apartment#
Sub Job=Tenant

Had the apartment number and tenant under Job and didn't have the tenant as
a Sub Job.

Have to figure out which report to customize to generate a Tenant Tracking
report and Apartment Tenant occupancy report.

Can't see where to breakout and select the sub-job which would be the Tenant
Tracking report or just select Job and list each tenant that occupied the
apartment for a specific period of time.
Can this be done in Job Sub-Job fields? Can any of the fields in the Job
Sub-Job record be used to accomplish this?

Great web site!

Do you have support by email?
