Strange situation with QBP2004 multiuser. Not sure if important.
Restarting QP application (not reinstalling) processing after a dormancy =
of over a year.
On workstation 1 it shows the last usage as the current date 10/20/2006. =
This was displayed using add/remove programs and accessing Quickbooks =
on workstation 2 on that date. When displaying Quickbooks on =
Add/Remove Control panel it shows last usage as 2004. I can't access =
the QBW file even though it is on the hard drive.
It seems the "last accessed date is reversed on the workstations (peer =
to peer). =20
I can load data from a flashdrive. Any thought, comments, or =
references.
Is this a remap problem? I need the last usage of Quickbooks to appear =
on the correct workstation.
Do I have other problems?
Thanks

Please log in for more thread options I've never trusted the "Last Access" date in Add/Remove Control Panel entry
so I would not get upset that it is incorrect.

Please log in for more thread options More than half of the programs listed in my CP show a last usage date of
either installation or some update but not actual program launch.
I don't understand how the last usage date of the program per workstation is
important as long as you're using the correct file.
As for the file not loading, locate it on the hd, righ-click > properties,
make sure its not marked read-only. Try double-clicking the file and
selecting QB 2004 as the program to open it with.
