In previous versions of QuickBooks Pro, when I used a "Fixed Asset"
account when entering a bill, it would launch a Fixed Asset Wizard.
QBPro2008 doesn't. Can I make it do so?

Are you refering to the Fixed Asset Manger? In current versions, that
feature is only available in Accountant and Enterprise versions.

I am assuming the OP was refering to a wizard that ran in PRO that hand held
the user while adding a new item on the fixed asset list that was triggered
by posting to a fixed asset account.

The user can just add the item manually to the list in version 2008.
