Within QB, Intuit spams an offer for a QuickBooks card - "the best way to
input your transactions directly into QuickBooks"
The card USED to be maintained by Citibank. Evidentially, another financial
institution offered Intuit bigger bucks.
The new QuickBooks card download is a nightmare. Whereas CitiFinancial has
two service numbers, one for online access and one for regular account
access, the new QuickBooks Platinum Plus does not. A call for help in
downloading gets you the advice to 'contact your software provider'.
Additionally, each employee account is treated as an individual account. .
Unlike Citibank, which has a master account you make payments to (individual
'statements' are provided for your records), the new QuickBooks Platinum
Plus requests SEPARATE payments for each employee (you are offered the
option to include a payment disbursal sheet). Payments made via internet are
defaulted to same day processing (same day payments have a processing fee).
So, unless you are observant you will have multiple fees each time you pay a
bill.
So, it's a gripe - but I would highly recommend NOT accepting an offer for a
credit card 'specially designed for use in QuickBooks'. Other financial
institutions simply do a better job.
