Quickbooks test for screening A/R job applicants? Bill Taylor 09-01-2008

Has anyone devised a brief test to screen for QB competence in a job
prospect? My A/R tends to be rather complex: sales orders, sales
receipts, deposits, partial payments, credits, adjustments, sales tax,
multiple payers, multiple non-inv items, freight costs, etc.
My payroll is contracted, A/P relatively straightforward. We don't use
job costing, maybe I would like to.....

The last time I hired, the basics were easy, but the transition to the
actual way I conduct business proved to be a problem; cash balance is a
mess every month. Sales tax is never right.

Help.
