Quickbooks update fails with error 1926... Christian Williamson 01-05-2008

 I got the following when updating Quickbooks:


Error Window:

Error 1926. Could not set file security for file C:Documents
and SettingsAll UsersApplication DataIntuitQuickboooks
2007. Error 5: Verify that you have sufficient privileges to
modify the security permissions for this file.

Quickbooks Update Utility Error

Problem Error 1603: The update installer has encountered an
internal error.

Solution
Repair the Quickbooks installation.
For detailed solution steps, write down the error number and
then type the following into a Web browser:

www.quickbooks.com/support/update.html


I've moused-right on C:, went to the security tab, and gave "Everyone"
full control. This still fails.

Anybody ever run into this?
