I suspect that your version of QuickBooks is too hold to convert Quicken
2008. Normally QuickBooks can convert a Quicken file that is the same or
older version so it can convert Q99 to Q2003 but not Q2008. Check the help
file under "quicken" and it should tell you what years it can convert.
Here are a couple of options:
-upgrade to QB 2008 or 2009 so that you can convert your Q file to QB
quickly. There are numerous enhancements and great improvements since the
2003 program that make it worth upgrading.
-Use a third party tool such as Big Red's QIF to IIF or the QIF to OFX
conversion tools here:
