I have QuickBooks Pro 2003 and Quicken H&B 2008. I have business data in
Quicken that I would like to import into QuickBooks. When I open QuickBooks
and attempt to import data from Quicken I get a error message that the is a
problem in Quicken that I must open Quicken to fix. No explanation or way to
fix it. I have run Validate & Super Validate on the Quicken file but it does
not help. Any advise would be appreciated.

I suspect that your version of QuickBooks is too hold to convert Quicken
2008. Normally QuickBooks can convert a Quicken file that is the same or
older version so it can convert Q99 to Q2003 but not Q2008. Check the help
file under "quicken" and it should tell you what years it can convert.

Here are a couple of options:
-upgrade to QB 2008 or 2009 so that you can convert your Q file to QB
quickly. There are numerous enhancements and great improvements since the
2003 program that make it worth upgrading.

-Use a third party tool such as Big Red's QIF to IIF or the QIF to OFX
conversion tools here:

I was going to suggest that you post your question over on the quicken group
but I see that you have already done that. Maybe some over there has
