Since I have recently done this:
Export your vendor list and then export a customer list. I do it as two
tranasctions as it is easier to make adjustments in Excel.
Copy the vendor information to the customer fields, but make sure that any
custom fields are accounted for. I recently did this and my custom fields
did not transfer so I am not sure if it a quirk or QB does not transfer
custom fields.
