I am using QuickBooks Pro 2008.

My chart of accounts has three levels. As in Account A has sub-
accounts A & B, sub-account A has sub-account z.

When producing a trial balance I would like it to show the first two
levels only. But I can only summarize by the first level or third
level.

How do I produce a trial balance that only shows Level 1 and Level 2?

Thank you!

The only way I can think of is to design a financial statement that
accomplishes this task. You will need a third party financial statement
report writer to do this in the Pro version.

I am using pro 2007
I can do a trial balance, modify report filters, accounts, multiple accounts
and select the accounts you want.
