Hi, I've downloaded Quickbook Simple Start and I found "What do I do first?"
and "Check out the tutorials" to be quite helpful. Does anyone know where I
might find a more complete tutorial, something that, say, takes a typical
company thru a few months or so.

Yes, I know that one way or the other I'm going to have to buy Quickbooks
Pro sooner or later, but working with the free version for a while will tell
me if what I have in mind is doable without spending anything to find out.

Simple is so crippled that I doubt anyone can make a sound assessment based
on what they see. Its like trying to deside if you want to marry a someone
and the only part of that person you have knowledge of is their arm pit.

Armpit knowledge may be dispositive.

Do you recall the poem: "Ode to a lump of green clay I found in my armpit
one morning?"

You might find some of the materials here useful:
http://www.quickbooksgroup.com/qblibrary/tutorials/. Even the tutorials for
Pro might help you if you are new to QB.

What do you have in minde? Maybe we can tell you if it is doable or
not. Or, you can get a 30 day trial of QB Pro or Premier to try it
out.
