Hello there:

I am new to QuickBooks and I am trying to learn it.

I entered a small company in QuickBooks Premier Edition 2006. The company
prints a magazine every 4
weeks (13 times in a year), no sales tax. About 30 clients and 5 vendors.

1-) Our fiscal year should have 13 periods but I don't know how to set it up
that way.

2-)I would like to run the company in a "Cash Basis" not Accrual Basis.
Where do I change that? I can do
the change to "Cash Basis" when I see reports only.

Thank you for your replies.

Lo.

QB is date driven so there is no option to select 13 periods, just report
the period you want -start date -end date -you can memorize the reports to
get back to them easily.

Edit/preferences/reports and graphs/company preferences/summary
